We invite you to discover the secrets and treasures of Robinson Crusoe Island, part of the Juan Fernandez archipelago, an island dream that promises to heighten the senses and deliver one of the most wild, unforgettable experiences in nature in the Pacific Ocean, where you will enjoy an incredible adventure in sustainable sport fishing and guided sport diving.

A destination with unique fishing qualities, the island has been a Marine Protected Area (World Marine Park) since 2015, a recognition earned due to its status as a World Biosphere Reserve and the 68% of endemic species found in its waters.

When you set sail in one of our 2 boats, you’re sure to feel like a 21st century Robinson Crusoe. What’s more, you’ll journey deep into the flora and fauna of the Juan Fernandez National Park and see species unique to this part of the world, all accompanied by local guides knowledgeable in the island’s history and local legends.

The Juan Fernandez archipelago, where Robinson Crusoe Island is found, offers some of the world’s best sport fishing of the Seriola lalandi (also known as vidriola, yellowtail kingfish, amberjack, palometa, toremo, dorado, olhete, and pez limón), which, according to the island’s historical records, have been found weighing more than 132 pounds. Other species include sawfish, Juan Fernandez sea bass, tuna, soles, and Juan Fernandez mackerels.

Types of fishing: jigging, casting, fishing with poppers, and fly fishing.

The highest concentration of fish per km2 in the world!

Expedition specifics

The island is located in the Pacific Ocean, about 415 miles into the sea from the coasts of Valparaíso.

Flights to the island from the Santiago airport can be booked in advance and take approximately 3 hours. They arrive late in the day and depart in the early afternoon on the final day, so guests can take advantage of a few extra hours at the beginning and end of the expedition.

Breakfasts packed with high-energy nutrients prepare guests for a day full of activities. Lunches consist primarily of ocean products: fresh fish such as pandora, yellowtail, sole, Chilean sea bass, mackerel, and tuna, in addition to octopus, golden crab, and the famous Juan Fernandez lobster. It’s important to communicate if you are vegetarian or have any dietary needs before the trip. The final farewell meal consists of a barbecue of meat, fish, or whatever else the group chooses. This meal is 100% personalized according to the group and its individuals.
